    ABOUT
    
    the german composer and conductor studied composition with hans-jürgen von bose (munich), róbert wittinger and 
    reinhard pfundt (leipzig) and conducting with gunter kahlert (weimar) and gert bahner (leipzig). he conducted several 
    orchestras, including jena philharmonic, erfurt philharmonic orchestra and thueringen philharmonic gotha-suhl. 
    he was artistic director of ensemble leipzig 21 and conducted many first performances of contemporary music.
      
    currently he teaches at the university of music and theatre  "felix mendelssohn bartholdy" leipzig.
